Big Top Snapshot! - Photo Competition

JUST ANNOUNCED:
Winner of the 2009 Big Top Snapshot! competition, Barney Meyer, is having an exhibition that will feature his winning entry 'Planet Oz'.

Opening on Friday February 26th at Michaels Alpha Gallery, corner of Lonsdale and Elizabeth Streets, Melbourne, this is not an exhibition to be missed!


In 2009 we launched our inaugural photography competition, Big Top Snapshot! inviting both amateur and professional photographers alike to take a creative snap of our infamous Big Top in Melbourne.

The competition was a hit, unearthing hundreds of fresh and original images. From the tops of buildings, at dawn and dusk and at night, from close up and in extreme wide angle, we had hundreds of beautiful photos of our Big Top in our home town. The competition culminated in an exhibition of finalists' photographs at Michaels Alpha Gallery which was launched with the announcement of the winner, Barney Meyer's photo 'Planet Oz'.
