Dylan Hodda

Dylan has been performing and teaching circus since 1997. He began training in Hobart and Brisbane before moving to Melbourne to participate in the 1999 National Institute of Circus Arts National Training Project. Over the years Dylan's primary focus has been acrobalance. He is interested in dynamic, movement based work, and loves mixing this style with more “traditional” acrobalance techniques to put a new spin on the old classics. Circus has introduced Dylan to incredibly creative and talented people and taken him to places that would have otherwise been out of reach. Touring Far North Queensland with the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, teaching in remote Indigenous communities stands out as a highlight, as does performing and teaching at the Busan Beach Dance Festival in Korea
