How do I enrol?
To pay by credit card, enrol on our online shop, by clicking the book now button next to the class you want to book
To pay by cash, cheque or money order, you can pop into the office and enrol.
Do we have waiting lists?
Yes. Sometimes places become available in a class. If it’s early enough in the term then we will fill that place with someone who missed out. When a class is full there will be a “join the waiting list” button on the website. Click the button and fill in your details. If a place becomes available in your preferred class we will contact you. If we are more than a few weeks into a term we will need to talk to the trainer to see if it’s appropriate to join a class at that time.
Do you offer a discount for doing multiple classes?
Yes. If you do more than one class in a term or holiday period we will refund you 10% of your total payment. This will be refunded back on to the card you paid with after the term has started. This also applies if two or more siblings are enrolled in the same term.
Can I drop into a class?
We do not offer any drop in classes. If you would like to get a taste of our Circus Classes, we do offer short courses as part of our holiday program between terms.
If you want your child to try a class before committing to a term, you can do this on the first week of term providing that there is space in the class, and pay for the trial class only if you don’t join up for the term. Term bookings will be prioritized, so to arrange this please contact email@example.com or 03 9676 0325 at the beginning of term to see if there is space available for your trial. Or you can book in for one of our “Come ‘n’ Try” classes in the next School holiday program.
Which classes are already full?
If a class is full you can see this on the website info www.circusoz.com/classes.
If a class is full you will see the “contact” button instead of the “book now” button – this will allow you to email our Classes Coordinator to request a place on the waiting list.
Do I need to sign a consent form?
You need to give consent. This is part of the online enrolment process and generally there is no separate consent form.
Individuals and Parent/ Guardians are required to tick that they agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Circus Oz Indemnity Conditions. By agreeing to these online, your consent is recorded.
If there are special circumstances that prevent enrolment to occur online Circus Oz reserves the right to request a signed consent form to be provided prior to commencement of the class.
Where are the classes held?
Classes are held at the Circus Oz Training Hall located at 50 Perry Street, Collingwood. Please click here for a map.
How many people are in a class?
Flying classes – Max 6.
All other classes work on a 1 trainer to 8 participant ratios so classes are a either amaximum of 8, 16, or 24 with 1, 2, or 3 trainers.
What do I wear to a class?
Please wear stretchy, comfortable clothes and runners with no watches or jewellery. Hair is to be tied back. Some classes, such as Pole, may have special requirements so read the details of the class carefully.
How old do I have to be?
Kids classes – 6+ No we do not make exceptions for 5 year olds.
Teens – 13+
Adults – 18+
Who are the trainers?
All our trainers are experienced professionals. If you’d like to see who is teaching a class please look at that particular class on the website. Occasionally we will have fill in trainers taking a class if a regular trainer becomes unavailable.
Can I come and watch a class?
Having an audience can be both distracting and intimidating so we try and limit the number of people watching our classes. For children's classes we allow parents and legal guardians to come to the first class and any special showing classes.
Watching adult classes is only by prior negotiation. Please email our Classes Coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org or call 03 9676 0325.
In respect of people’s privacy and the safety of participants in classes, taking photos at classes is not permitted without prior permission from the Classes Coordinator.
What happens if I miss a class?
We do not refund, credit, run additional classes or allow people to join other classes to make up for any individual classes they have missed. Classes will run whether you attend or not, it is your responsibility to make sure you can attend all the classes within the term.
Can I cancel an enrolment?
If you have paid for a whole term or holiday program, a full refund will only be given up to 14-days prior to the first class commencement date. No refunds will be given past this point. Refund requests can be made by either sending an email to email@example.com or by calling 03 9676 0325. An administration fee of $30 will be deducted from the price paid for the class.
Are classes ever cancelled?
Classes may be cancelled if the minimum number of students is not met.
In the event that a class is cancelled or the dates of a class are altered you can choose to:
- attend the rescheduled class (if applicable);
- request a credit note; or
- request a full refund.
Please note that teachers may change due to their performances schedules.
