Circus Oz were a finalist in the 2014 Cityswitch Awards

3rd December 2014

Circus Oz are excited to announce that we were a finalist for the Partnership of the Year award for our partnership with Lovell Chen who helped us create our new home in Collingwood.

The Partnership Award recognises not only projects that relate directly to energy efficiency within a tenancy but to new collaborations and partnerships that deliver over and above business as usual to break down market barriers and create transformation of signatories’ company, sector, target audience and/or wider community and which result in energy efficiency becoming more widely understood and reduction activities implemented. Indicators of successful market transformation might include:

  • Collaboration with building owners, facility managers or other agents or consultants to unlock barriers to change and performance improvement
  • Working with stakeholders and/or supply chain to raise the environmental performance of companies with whom you do business
  • Influence on the government or the local and wider community. Assessment criteria remain the same as for other awards, with preference given to innovative, leadership projects whose effectiveness can be evidenced through the NABERS framework (including improvements in base building ratings), however, projects providing other evidence of achievement or independent savings verification will be admissible.
