Stay up late with Circus Oz at White Night
11th February 2016
February 20 sees Melbourne stay up late with White Night, a dusk 'till dawn celebration of culture and creativity, and this year Circus Oz will be joinging in at the Melbourne Museum Plaza as part of VicHealth's Circus Circus precinct.
Along with 12 hours of performances from Circus Oz, Women's Circus, the National Institute of Circus Arts and many other touring and community circuses the audience will be offered a rare opportunity to view the rigging, training and preparation for each act with a behind the scenes exposé of circus and physical theatre training and development.
You’ll also get the chance to fulfil your childhood dream of joining the circus as audiences will be invited to take part in an exciting program of interactive circus training from hula hooping and juggling to creative group exercises designed to stretch your minds and bodies with 720 minutes of Circus Playground.
So head to the Melbourne Museum Plaza between 8pm and 10pm to see Circus Oz in action under the stars and stick around to try your skills in the Circus Playground. Find out more.
