3 Speed, Broadsheet & an ice cream sensation
17th November 2016
Melbourne designers and restaurants – plus an international ice-cream sensation – will converge in a rarely accessible Collingwood space.
This November, Broadsheet is holding a one-off weekend food and design market behind the Melba Spiegeltent and as we’re coming in to summer, it’s being anchored it with ice-cream.
New York ice-cream lords OddFellows – who have recently collaborated with Connoisseur – will be serving variations of their world-famous ice-cream sandwiches. The four new flavours of the Connoisseur Brooklyn range – which OddFellows designed – will be served between biscuits made by Tuck Shop Take Away.
Melbourne’s favourite Brooklyn-inspired restaurants, Nieuw Amsterdam, 5 & Dime, Bowery to Williamsburg and Shawcross Pizza, will be setting up shop for the weekend ensuring the people of Melbourne have their bagel and Reuben sandwich fix.
There’ll be homewares, plants, books, clothing, prints, jewellery and fashionable items for your dog from the likes of Arro Home, Alchemy Produx, Cool Cactus, Little Veggie Patch Co, Minna Gilligan, Alison Turnbull, Kitiya Palaskas, Kitsu, Emily Green, Georgie Cummings and Nice Digs.
The Royal Road Coffee cart will provide the coffee and there will be plenty of tables and chairs for you to enjoy an ice-cream sandwich in the sun.
All this is happening with 3 Speed Crunch Box showing in the Melba Spiegeltent so you can make a day of it with the kids! There are two show times (10:30am and 12:30pm on Saturday).
